This was only my second time at a beach, first time in the water. I quickly discovered that sand is annoying and is worse than dog hair. Especially when there is a diaper involved and a baby who is not content at staying still anymore!
This was the hotel we stayed at right on the beach.

There was a kite store on the Boardwalk that had a bunch of kites tied up on the beach to show. The pictures do not show it too well, but these were HUGE kites.
One guy was telling us that the man who did these sand sculptures comes to the boardwalk once a week and builds them. He then uses them and the attention they get as an opportunity to preach.
Dresden fast asleep after a long day. This was the first time he had ever started sleeping on his stomach/side. Now almost everyday I find him sleeping like this.
On Tuesday we went on th OC Rocket, which is a speedboat that takes you out in the ocean. While there was kids crying and screaming in fear, leave it to Dresden to laugh and love the ride the entire time.
He is so stinkin cute. I love his smile in the beach picture. And I'm with you on the beach thing...I wonder if you have to be raised going to the beach to not be annoyed by the sand (or scared of being pulled under by the waves like I am).
